Designer Pierpaolo Piccioli presented VALENTINO Fall Winter 2021.22 Act Collection at Milan’s Piccolo Teatro, during the last day of the recently finished Milan Fashion Week. The collection pays tribute to culture, and explores memories without nostalgia, to bring sensual and romantic looks. For the show London based artist Cosima performed Prince’s Nothing Compares 2 U and Rose Royce’s I’m Wishing on a Star songs.
Reopening a theatre today is almost a punk gesture.. Choosing to show our collection at the Teatro Piccolo in Milano, is a way to start the process of re-opening places of culture in our country. We need culture to be alive and we need to talk about it. Teatro Piccolo di Milano embodies the perfect symbol of all values our Brand stands for, it is a place of inclusivity and freedom. This is a first step, and even if it won’t be open to the public, it will give hope, the idea that we are all going in the right direction. – Pierpaolo Piccioli
