Balenciaga presented its newest art installation by German-artist Moreno Schweikle as a part of Art In Stores project. Called “Oasis Fountains”, the series is displayed at several brand’s stores in Europe, America and Asia.
Since April 30th, the “SPRING S-700” fountain is displayed at the Balenciaga store Via Monte Napoleone in Milan and will then travel to other boutiques throughout Europe. The fountains “SPRING A-100” and “SPRING G-300” will travel in America and Asia.

Within the past few years, artists Anna-Sophie Berger, Cayetano Ferrer, Nicole Wermers, Harry Nuriev, and Tobias Spichtig have each created installations that range from temporary to permanent for the brand’s many outposts and events.
Spring Coolers is a continuation of the Germany-born Schweikle’s Design Academy Eindhoven graduation project, which reinterprets neoclassical fountains found in ancient city squares as well as the modern-day office water cooler, a visual synonym for communal activity.
