Spanish designer JUANA MARTÍN unveiled her Fall Winter 2021.22 Sel Noir Haute Couture Collection, that explores the beginning of a new phase after a turbulent period, on July 8th, as part of the digital Paris Fashion Week. The collection is dominated by black color, with just one look that is radiant white, that symbolizes the light at the end of the tunnel. It features exaggerated structures, as well as a combination of straight lines with added curved format in more organic shapes.
“The designer’s new collection can be interpreted from two points of view, taking as a reference, the prominence and symbolism of the color black. On the one hand, from the trajectory and the origins of Juana Martín herself, her roots and her particular and recognized style. And, on the other hand, from a personal vision in which “Sel Noire” reproduces the situation experienced this past year around the world.” – from Juana Martín
Fashion photographer Andrew Jim captured the lookbook featuring models Olga Khamaidiuk, Raquel Casillas, Shakira, Luz Serrano, Ana Torres, and Laura Campbell. Beauty is work of hair stylist Rafa Maqueda, and makeup artist Menchu Benítez. In charge of video direction was Factus.
