Sports brand NIKE and tennis superstar SERENA WILLIAMS teamed up back in 2019 for an apprenticeship program Serena Williams Design Crew (SWDC) that promotes diversity in design. 10 apprentices were selected to join the program. After two years, the preview of the very first collection – SWDC1 is finally here. The collection that features 17 pieces, both footwear and apparel, was inspired by the 90′ style, and it celebrates Serena Williams’ achievements on and off court.
Serena Williams Design Crew‘s first collection will be available from September 1st.
