Colin LoCascio takes part in the New York fashion week with a digital presentation of the Spring Summer 2022 collection. The collection is encapsulated with twenty-four playful looks ready for the next hopefully much light and enjoyable summer season.
“Our Spring Summer 2022 collection was initially inspired by children’s refrigerator artwork, messy finger paintings, crunchy pasta necklaces, faded construction paper, and coloring book illustrations with majority of the color outside of the lines. I was fascinated by the warmth and comforting nature of my niece’s “artwork” that had encrusted my refrigerator and explorative naivety into the collection through the use of color, texture, and originals prints. I became nostalgic for the days of playing M.A.S.H. until i married my crush of the moment, or art class when my kooky art teacher would give us Tempera paint and tell us to go wild. The collection aims to cement key items for the modern it-girl, and further expand the Colin LoCoascio assortment with the introduction of more novelty kinterwear, printed linen, printed denim, and of course gluten free pasta crochet for the girl who loves to indulge without the gastrointestinal consequences” shares Colin Locascio talking about his Spring Summer 2022 collection.
