SPRING SUMMER 2022 WOMENSWEAR COLLECTIONS

“The items are built starting from the elements of the traditional tailoring in Putignano which has a extroardinary tradition in wedding dresses. Vìen has recovered processing techniques and details that has been fragmented in order to develop an evolved and synthetic prét à portér where volumes, overlaps and colors transform the ordinary into the extraordinary and vice versa, evolving complex structures into feminine and functional clothing. The midi and long skirt return, with different gradients and volumes, inspired by the Doric column that opens with pleating techniques on silk tulle. Trousers widen and become the classic trouser skirt, in variable lengths. Dresses are constructed through overlapping panels in contrasting materials and colors. The inspiration is the Austrian Secession reinterpreted in Klimt’s art, through the women he loved and inspired him, like the photographer Dora Kallmus who, in the early Twentieth century Vienna, used clothes and accessories on the naked body to portray the women of her time, free and seductive.” – from Vìen
