Designer Pia Zanardi presented YALI Spring Summer 2022 Collection, that was inspired by the designer’s childhood memories of Parma, and its surrounding countryside, on September 26th, as part of the recently finished Milan Fashion Week. The color-forward collection, that fuses heritage craft and modern techniques, brings optimism and future-forward feel. Photographer Paolo Zerbini captured the lookbook featuring Aomi Muyock. In charge of styling was Francesca Cefis, with beauty from Katja Wilhelmus and Giulia Cigarini.
SPRING SUMMER 2022 WOMENSWEAR COLLECTIONS
“Function and form combine to storytell a day in the life of YALI through dreamlike adventures of bike riding in the village of Gussola, witnessing balmy summer sunsets over the Po River, or gardening amidst the buzz of iridescent dragonflies overhead. Essential to the Spring/Summer 2022 collection is YALI’s belief in the thoughtful combination of color and textiles to serve as a powerful tool for healing and self-expression, a sartorial tonic to the residual effects of a year spent in lockdown. YALI’s core collection of contemporary jackets is also reimagined in new streamlined styles and bold hues, made by a team of expert craftsmen based in southern China. A portion of proceeds from sales will benefit the AAPI community in the U.S., who have been an integral part of YALI’s journey.” – from Yali
