
Italian denim brand DIESEL presented the Spring Summer 2022 Ready To Wear Collection with a short film and a collection lookbook. This is the first collection designed by the newly-appointed Creative Director Glenn Martens. For his first collection, Martens took inspiration from the brand’s commercial lineup to create something fun, creative, and energetic. The collection film follows the protagonist who finds herself in a dream like utopia, jumps into diffrent realities, bluring the lines between the two.

The first section of collection features denim from Martens’ ‘Denim Library’, his new initiative focusing on sustainable production techniques, with the ultimate goal that over 40 percent of the brand’s denim collection will have a permanent shelf-life, instead of rotating seasonally. The collection also features high-waist five-pocket jeans with integrated shoes, bleached pattern pieces, color block patterns and more in shades of silver, orange, and white.
