For the collection designer was inspired by his early life experience of working with KCD’s Ed Filipowski, and the way grunge has influenced designers at that time. Rousteing is worried about the future generations, their knowledge about magazines, tapes, Kodak’s. The world is fast changing, one minute’s relevant is next minute’s vintage. With that in his mind, Rousteing made a collection that hopefully mixes both. The grunge inspired looks present that perfection lies in imperfection, in torn pieces, scattered embroidery.
