Location
A few meteres away from Plaça de Catalunya, a large square considered to be the centre of the city, and at the beginning of the largest pedestrian street Las Ramblas, is the stunning Yurbban Ramblas Hotel. The hotel is located right in front of Font de Canaletas, the drinking fountain. The legend says if you drink the water from the fountain you will fall in love with Barcelona and always return to the city. A short walk away is the famous La Bouqeria Market, which offers the biggest range of Spanish food specialties. Walking through Las Ramblas you’ll see everything from shops, restaurants, flower stalls to Liceu Opera, Plaça Reial to Columbus Monument.
The Story
Founded in 2019, the hotel was first named Casa Volver, meaning a house to return to. Situated in the old listed building in the center of the city, the idea of this boutique hotel was mixing the heritage and history of this amazing city and architecture and the modern-day luxury design and comfort. A new chapter for the hotel began at the end of 2021. They joined the Yurbban Hotels family and became Yurbban Ramblas Boutique Hotel. The Yurbban Hotels mission is to provide an accomodation experience as the guests were natives and make them come back to Barcelona every time tey get the chance.
Art
Strolling through the hotel lobby, hallways and rooms you can see a large amount of spectacular artwork. The hotwl collaborated with a non-profit organisation committed to spreading and acknowledging the social value of documentary photography and photojournalism, Photographic Social Vision. Every artwork in the hotel is from local photographers and artists.
We feel that photos are the best way to embrace the spirit of our city: cosmopolitan, open and innovative, yet respectful of tradition.
Rooms
The hotel has 43 rooms, and each one of them is carefully designed for a relaxing experience. Half of them are overlooking the Las Ramblas street with the beautiful traditional balconies perfect for morning coffee or tea, and the other half overlooks the interior pattio. Each room has a wonderful and comfy bed with Egyptian cotton linen, rain shower, amazing toiletries and of course local art and photography.
The rooms are divided into 6 categories: tiny, doble, Ramblas, Ramblas Superior, junior suite and family. Choose your favorite and enjoy the atmosphere.
Dining
A few steps from the breathtaking lobby is the adorable breakfast area, featuring continental breakfast – diffrent types of coffee and fresh juices, sweets and of course Spanish specialty – jamon (dry-cured ham). If you like to take your breakfast and stroll through Las Ramblas, you can grab your favorites from the breakfast bar and enjoy your food with a view.
The coziest place in this stunning hotel is the Home Bar located in the corner of the lobby hall. It features a beautiful fireplace and a lots of books and local art which you can explore. You can sit and read a book, have a drink from hotel’s bar, work or just relax in the peaceful setting.
