Supermodel Naomi Campbell joined by her baby is back on the cover with VOGUE UK. Her first cover of British VOGUE was 35 years ago! And Editor-In-Chief Edward Enninful created a dream team for Cambpell’s return to VOGUE UK cover – in charge of photography was Steven Meisel with styling from Joe Mckenna. The makeup is work of the legendary Makeup Artist Pat McGrath with hair styling from equally legendary Hair Stylist Gudio Palau.
“One of the stars of British Vogue’s March issue cover made her debut on the front of this magazine almost 35 years ago. The other? Well, she is a little newer to the game. Naomi – supermodel, superwoman – is one of my oldest friends, and it has been a huge personal joy for me to see how she has taken to a life-changing new role since last spring: supermother,” shares Edrward Enninful following the release of the cover story.
The cover story out now on British Vogue’s web page comes with an exclusive interview with the supermodel. Naomi herself shared on her socials: “THANK YOU TO MY FAMILY, Edward Enninful, Steven Meisel, Pat McGrath, Guido Palau, Marva Soogrim. Our love goes 3 decades long!! So blessed to share my baby girl my daughter with you . BEST VALENTINES.“
Naomi‘s thank you note featured also Marva Soogrim a famed Nanny known for providing expert advice on parenting throughout her social media accounts.
For British VOGUE Campbell talks about The Supermodels, upcoming documentary in production for Apple TV. “It’s about our life and times together: our friendship, careers, our womanhood, our motherhood. As models, we don’t have any rights to our image, so it feels good to be partners on our legacy – and in our own words,” – shares Campbell in her VOGUE UK interview.
The issue comes with two covers, on the 1st one with her child Naomi is in total look Valentino. 2nd one however features a body look from Burberry by Riccardo Tisci.
