Discover LUTZ HUELLE Fall Winter 2022.23 Collection, that reimagines simple and classic pieces with a touch of lavishness or abundance, presented on March 4th, during the recently finished Paris Fashion Week. The designer started the collection with men’s classic the three-piece suit. He then added details and finishings to the most classic of wardrobe staples: the white shirt came as a wrap-around top or with a border of pink frills, the waistcoat turned into a square piece of fabric with 2 holes, falling over the shoulders, the front panel of a Bomber was replaced with a huge shawl collar. Fashion photographer Francesco Brigida captured the lookbook featuring models Mame Anta Wade, Ariunzul, Hody Yim, Alexis K, Diego, Tiah Beye, Gabriel Michel, and Anamaria Cioboata. In charge of casting direction were Sgueguen and Martin Franck. Beauty is work of hair stylist Tom Marcireau, and makeup artist Jessie Lefler. Video direction by Pierre-Marie Croquet.
“Finely pleated popelin adds an architectural effect to white shirts and dresses. Last season’s bunches of pink taffetas are reworked as dramatic ruffled collars on a cotton shirt, worn with a trench coat in water-repellent cotton or a draped shawl-collared coat in chequered beige wool they look both alluring and a little eccentric. A square piece of the same wool is worn as a waistcoat over shirt dresses with ruffled collars, pairing rustic simplicity with joyous exuberance. A skinny T-Shirt has orb-shaped sleeves cut close to the neckline, and is worn with our reworked Denim Pants for day and a large pleated pant or shorts for evening. A series of dresses mix and match jersey, permanent pleats and taffetas. This season’s Bombers come with large draped shawl-collars, adding opulence to this most casual of garments. Finally, a cape-coat is cut using swathes of light taffetas for a most dramatic effect, best worn with Jeans and a T-shirt.” – from Lutz Huelle
