It’s difficult to recall a time when New Balance’s bright colors and chunky silhouettes didn’t rule the street style scene. The sneaker company, which was founded in 1906, has become well-known for developing shoes that prioritize comfort and performance, making them a popular option among athletes and casual sneaker users. With the launching of the first running shoe, the Trackster, in the 1960s, the American brand has gained huge popularity. The label is making a contemporary revival more than a half-century later. New Balance is no longer simply another relevant shoe brand, it has returned the throne in attractive off-duty footwear. A series of high-profile partnerships with fashion brands such as Miu Miu, Casablanca and Stüssy have further helped to establish New Balance as a must-have shoe brand among fashion and trend-savvy customers.

With so many different ways to wear them, the shoes are a versatile classic that anybody can wear.  It’s nice when you can have a sneaker that you can wear to the gym but also slip on with a blazer and a skirt and walk out the door.

The DSCENE team has compiled a list of the most trending sneakers from the iconic brand. Continue reading to learn about the latest New Balance sneakers for women, ranging from neutral staples to bold statements.

Wmns 327 ‘Grey Navy’

This brand-new 327 sneaker is inspired by some of New Balance’s archival models from the 1970s. The top of these women’s pair, however, is made of quality materials, with stone suede overlaid over pure white leather. The sneaker’s two hallmarks — the super-sized N and the elongated tread — are both there, and the latter is made of gum rubber to add to the vintage vibe. For a sophisticated look, pair them with a beige elongated jacket, a dark blue cable knit sweater, and ripped denim shorts.

Wmns 550 ‘Au Lait’

Over the previous years, the New Balance 550 has struck a chord with female sneakerheads, ranking alongside the Nike Dunk as the most desired footwear on the market. Both companies have taken note, since those shapes have been made available in a plethora of women’s exclusive sizes, although New Balance has lagged a little in terms of developing releases in softer palettes. The New Balance 550 “Au Lait” colorway has a significant dosage of white and grey throughout the perforated leather, mesh, and suede construction, which is then contrasted with tan and brick red elements throughout the shoe, including the ankle, tongue, and sole unit. Consider wearing the sneaker with a dress or skirt. Try coordinating blazer and skirt sets or a slip dress with your favorite New Balance sneakers and maybe something beneath, such as a turtleneck. here are ways to elevate it from the ankle up while remaining comfortable and casual on the bottom.

The 452 trainer from New Balance is bold and hefty, and it provides a throwback 90s look. The imposing sole unit is both functional and fashionable, with ABZORB® foam cushioning for outstanding shock absorption and all-day comfort. The multi-textured upper is designed with leather overlays and completed with classic N branding on the sides. – Abrasion-resistant rubber outsole – NB super soft comfort insert. The color-blocking effect is really stunning. It makes every outfit seem new and fresh. The simplest method to do this is to style them in monotone styles.
