Luxury house BALENCIAGA unveiled their Fall Winter 2022.23 campaign featuring Bella Hadid, Aya Nakamura, Kit Butler, Zuo Chen, Abdou Diop, Inti Wang, and Lina Zhang captured by fashion photographer Nadia Lee Cohen. In charge of creative direction was designer Demna, with styling from Samia Giobellina, and beauty by hair stylist Gary Gill, and makeup artist Inge Grognard. The first installment of the brand’s multi-series campaign was inspired by the past that could have been but never was. The campaign also references the provocative nature of early 1990s advertising.
“In upcoming imagery and videos, models embrace one another and make eye contact with the viewer while a flashbulb goes off. The campaign cast holds the recently launched Lindsey, Crush,and Crocs Bag, as well as the XX, Hourglass, Everyday Tote, and Le Cagolein new styles and contexts. Also featured is a variety of Balenciaga Jewelry, the Excavator Boot, the Kensington Mule, the thigh-high Falkon Boot, the Knife Pump, Five-pocket Panta boots, and three-piece jeans that are a miniskirt, pants, and boots all at once. Other ready-to-wear item include robe coats, shrunken tops, distressed trenches, deconstructed slip dresses, and extra tight or extra baggy separates.
