Shadow is the light’s treasure. – Pierre Hardy, creative director of Hermès jewelry.

Luxury French fashion house HERMÈS unveils its exceptional high jewelry collection, Les Jeux de l’Ombre, designed by Pierre Hardy, Creative Director of Hermès Jewelry. Exploring the poetic dialogue between light and shadow, the collection transforms one of nature’s most fleeting phenomena into precious, sculptural jewelry, highlighting the extraordinary craftsmanship and creative vision at the heart of Hermès High Jewelry.
For Hermès Les Jeux de l’Ombre High Jewelry Collection, Pierre Hardy draws inspiration from the movement of shadows and their inseparable relationship with light. Rather than treating shadow simply as an absence of illumination, Hardy explores it as a form in its own right – constantly shifting, extending and transforming the objects and bodies around it. The resulting creations play with contrasts between brightness and darkness, opacity and transparency, presence and illusion.
The collection continues Hermès’ distinctive approach to contemporary high jewelry, where precious stones, unexpected volumes and graphic compositions are combined with the house’s celebrated savoir-faire. Diamonds and richly colored gemstones become part of an intricate study of reflection, depth and movement, while the jewelry’s sculptural silhouettes echo the constantly changing shapes produced when light encounters an object.
The visual universe of Les Jeux de l’Ombre is brought to life in a striking campaign photographed by acclaimed fashion photographer Elizaveta Porodina. Known for her experimental approach to color, light and portraiture, Porodina creates images that complement Pierre Hardy’s central concept, placing the jewelry within an atmospheric interplay of illumination, saturated tones and dramatic shadows.
Model Alyda Grace stars in the Hermès High Jewelry campaign, embodying the collection’s sophisticated yet enigmatic character. The campaign was styled by Victoire Simonney, with set design by Sophear Van Froment and casting by Maxime Valentini. Cécile Paravina was responsible for makeup, while Olivier Schawalder created the hair looks and Eri Narita worked on nails.
Through Les Jeux de l’Ombre, Hermès and Pierre Hardy offer a distinctive interpretation of modern luxury jewelry, turning the intangible relationship between shadow and light into wearable works of art. The collection reinforces the French maison’s position within the world of luxury high jewelry, balancing technical virtuosity with imagination, experimentation and the unmistakable visual language of Hermès.
