Architecture & Design
Envisioned by an award-winning architecture practice, Divercity Architects, in collaboration with MplusM Architects, the resort strongly references the traditional architecture of Santorini, reinterpreted in a contemporary way. Playing with geometric shapes and volumes, NOUS creates a built landscape that follows the slope of the natural ground.
When it comes to interior design, elegance and modernity are the keywords. However, all the materials, styles, and textures are inspired by the ones that already exist on the island. The color palette is defined by the world-famous murals from the archaeological site of Akrotiri, while the materials and textures refer to the island’s volcanic landscape and its famous vineyards. Art Curator Nadia Argyropoulou has selected an extensive collection of contemporary artworks, as well as well-known design icons by Doshi & Levien, Konstantin Grcic, Faye Toogood, etc.
