Balenciaga supports the UNITED24 Platform for helping the refugees from Ukraine. Creative director Demna, himself a refugee of war-torn Georgia, became an ambassador of our UNITED24 fundraising platform and created a t-shirt of which 100% of the net profits will be donated to the humanitarian Rebuild Ukraine Direction.
The humanitarian Rebuild Ukraine Direction is overseen by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and focuses exclusively on the renovation of critical infrastructure facilities such as roads, bridges, hospitals and schools to enable refugees to come back to their homes and restart their lives.
Balenciaga creative director Demna Gvasalia became an ambassador of our UNITED24 fundraising platform in the “Ukraine Recovery” direction to help temporarily displaced persons. – said Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy via Instagram.

Demna has been supporting Ukraine ever since the Russian invasion started this February. He dedicated Balenciaga’s Fall Winter 2022 show presented on March 6th to Ukraine and announced a round of donations to the country in partnership with the World Food Programme.
