Fashion brand BORBONESE presented its Spring Summer 2023 Womenswear Collection, that explores balance between rigor and sparkle, on Wednesday, September 21st, during the ongoing Milan Fashion Week. The presentation’s spirit is both recognizable and pure fantasy, the apparent darkness highlights the metallic glow of the colors, and the mix of the natural and the artificial creates dazzling vision. Designers Dorian Tarantini and Matteo Mena maximized their idea of sharp glamor with a rigorous yet sensual demeanor. The entire collection is made with archive materials, in honey, natural, green cactus, emerald, navy blue, pink, and red color. The silhouette is vertical and voluptuous. Distinctive sign of the season are the refractions of Swarovski crystals, spread on entire surfaces or composed in lines and profiles.

“The same balance of rigor and sparkle continues in the bags. The absolute protagonist is 110, the style with a rounded shape, presented in a special version, in the seasonal colors and embellished with Swarovski crystals®. Two variants are featured: with a crystal texture applied allover the OP suede, to make it glassy like sand; with crystal transfer applications of large stones, allover or only along the profiles. The contrast between glamor and pure design is exquisitely Borbonese. Clean lines and soft volumes like a Claes Oldenburg sculpture characterize Domino, the hobo style with brass dices on the knotted shoulder strap.
