Fashion brand INTERIOR presented the Spring Summer 2023 Womenswear Collection, on September 12th, during the recently finished New York Fashion Week. The collection is about the inherent harmony between the perfect and imperfect, creating a world where every beautiful choice is balanced by something a little off. Sanity and madnes, cleanliness and chaos, pleasure and pain, interior and exterior meet in this collection.
SPRING SUMMER 2023 COLLECTIONS
Pure whites, pale pinks and shades of cream are punctuated by oversaturated reds and matte blacks. Lavish chiffon gowns and cocktail dresses are distressed – often burned – at the hem. The bottom of an ankle-grazing gauze skirt is stained with mud. The lace is tattered, the day dresses are backward, the sweaters are unraveling. – from Interior
This subtle nod to a creeping chaos in spite of frantic efforts to keep order, to the perceived malaise of the woman in the attic living inside and in an insane world – who we felt a little bit like this past year – drives the collection.
