We booked Villa Quadra through Villatravellers rental company, which made all the organizing easier for us. They even helped us choose the villa that best suits our needs. Location
Located in southeast Sicily, Quadra offers spectacular views of Marina di Ragusa and Playa Grande. It is very close to Santa Croce Camerina, Donnalucata, Scicli, Ragusa and Modica. Some of the most beautiful beaches on the island, as well as a nature reserves are just 20 minutes away, while the historic city of Syracuse is 1 hour away. The location is ideal for anyone who wants to be near the sea, but able to explore the interesting cultural sites. As Sicily is one of the biggest islands in Europe, we highly recommend renting a car.
Style
Contemporary, tasteful and minimalistic, Villa Quadra is a beautifully designed villa with spectacular sea view and breathtaking sunsets. Its open, airy uncluttered spaces and decently sized swimming pool together with the gazebo and barbecue area make it a house perfectly adapted to contemporary vacation.
The beautiful gardens with Mediterranean plants, clearly visible through the huge windows of the open plan living room and kitchen, perfectly complete this laid back lifestyle. It all add to the sensation of being outdoors even when you are indoors!
Rooms
On the ground floor there is one bedroom, while on the upper floor there are two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, and a living area. The rooms are decorated in delectable shades of white, coffee and cream, with tasteful details in contrasting colors. The delicate elegance and the comforts of the villa, allow you to enjoy your own privacy while also enjoying communal areas.
Swimming Pool
A staircase leads down to the pool area, set below the villa. The pool area is minimalistic in design, with a lovely infinity pool big enough for your morning swimming sessions. It also features sun loungers, a small seating area, as well as an outdoor bathroom with shower.
For the summer 2023 season, the owners are planning to add a heated jacuzzi for two people near the pool area, which will add a real touch of luxury to Quadra’s already amazing outside space.
The Outdoor Kitchen
Another staircase leads to the lovely outdoor kitchen, with a dining table under the shade, as well as a hob, sink and barbecue, which makes cooking so relaxing! We spent some of our best evenings making food at home. Thanks to Villatravellers, we also enjoyed cooking lesson from a local chef in the outdoor kitchen! The super talented Chef Giovanni prepared the authentic food and wines of the region for us, which added an unforgettable flair to our trip.
