Fashion house GIADA unveiled its Fall Winter 2023 Collection, that celebrates grace and strength, on February 23rd, during the ongoing Milan Fashion Week. The collection explores the world of shadows, impressions and refractions, and it highlights the dialogue between shape and texture. The pieces are made from fabrics such as cashmere, wool, velvet, metallic silk, knit, and nappa in hues of white, black, beige, with accents of amethyst gray and luminous dashes of tangerine.
FALL WINTER 2023.24 WOMENSWEAR COLLECTIONS
“The sculptural silhouette smoothly follows the curves of the body. Volumes are either round and big on top, with circular sleeves and oval shapes that get narrow at the bottom, or small at the top to open up in rounded skirts. Knitted coats with superimposition effects draw attention on the shoulders. Capes wrap the body, while irregular lace creates impalpable shadow effects all over the figure. The verticality of the line is agitated by a focus on materiality: metallic pleating needle punched with cashmere, devorè velvet with degradè effects. Embroidery enters for the first time the GIADA lexicon, drawing shimmering botanical lines on metallic knit. Dresses, long as well as short, are pivotal, and so is knit. A certain sensuality peaks through, gently. Gradients and pleats add movement.” – from Giada
