Fashion brand HERON PRESTON presented its Fall Winter 2023 Collection, that celebrates the people that make New York the city that it is, on February 11th, during the ongoing New York Fashion Week. The collection brings functional fashion elevated through the details. For the season designer fused materials found throughout the city like chainmail and tarp with canvas, leather, denim, jersey, and fleece garments. Shapes are cut loose and finished with distressing and natural aging, recalling Preston’s affinity for vintage and pre-loved garments. Shearling and faux fur further can be seen in many aspects of the collection, from aviator, cropped jackets and coats to backpacks and carabiner handbags, elevating the NYC winter wardrobe. Industrial textures find their way with rubberized dip treatments on fine silver jewelry and Tyvek foam padded tailored suits for men.
