Fashion house PALMER//HARDING presented its Fall Winter 2023 Collection that searches for authenticity and happiness, and explores the development of thought. The collection uses the analogy of a seed planted, growing, transforming and eventually blossoming into its fully developed beauty. The seed planted is represented with deep splits and irregular lacing details, and with the long and extended silhouettes across shirts, dresses, trousers and knitwear. The growth is reflected with double layered elements in outerwear, transformable trousers that fall away or detach completely, and dresses and shirts that hang off the body in a delicate balance. The blossom brings joyous flounces and references the decadence of floral grandeur. Fashion photographer Rory Payne captured the lookbook featuring models Bianca O’Brien, Morgan Fernandez, and Anamaria Cioboata. In charge of styling and art direction was Natalie Brewster, with set design from Penny Mills, and casting direction by Paul Isaac. Beauty is work of hair stylist Maki Tanaka, and makeup artist Verity Cumming.

“While the collection explores a floral narrative, the fabric and colour palate remains neutral and grounded in earth tones, allowing innovative pattern cutting and silhouettes to shine. Cottons in shades of cream and birch, wools and viscoses in ivory, dark umber and black and faux leathers in forest green mix effortlessly with classic white and blue striped shirting which palmer//harding is known for.” – from palmer//harding
