Fashion brand SPORTMAX unveiled its Fall Winter 2023 Collection, that celebrates the call of the primordial, the power of brutalist simplicity and the ambiguous sensuality, on February 23rd, during the recently finished Milan Fashion Week. The collection titled Bare explores revealing while covering, and covering while revealing, and it presents androgyny as the absolute expression of freedom. For the season, the brand examines the work of artists/photographers such as Peter Hujar, Robert Mappelthorpe and Nan Goldin, who were devoted to finding the beauty hidden in the shadows. The collection plays with contrasts between bourgeois elegance, primitive chic, and glam androgyny.
