Fashion house GENNY unveiled its Spring Summer 2023 campaign featuring top model Sara Sampaio captured by fashion photographer Dario Catellani. In charge of styling was Cathy Kasterine, with creative direction from Sara Cavazza Facchini. The collection highlights the vital positivism of the Lowbrow art movement, that arose in the Los Angeles in the late 1960s, and influenced pop culture of the Seventies.
I chose Sara Sampaio because I saw that imprint of femininity consistent with the inspiration of the new collection in her expressive capacity. She is a young woman, capable of strong emotional impulses and a natural aptitude for empathy. Her elegant and bright image reflects the powerful vital spirit of GENNY’s fashion – Sara Cavazza Facchini
