VERSACE Fall Winter 2023 runway collection takes Donatella Versace team on a new path – of of minimalism. However, while absent from an explosion of prints the detailed craftsmanship does not bypass the Versace Fall Winter 2023 accessories. The intricate details while delicate and minimalism driven are present in the accessories, from bags to footwear these design lines masterfully propel the new collection.
While the runway show was perhaps the most impressive one for the season, as if Donatella knew she was saving the best for the last, the view in these details image brings you closer to the spirit of the collection.
“Atelier Versace craftsmanship and construction inform the silhouette. Dresses with folded structural busts fluted necklines, and rounded shoulders all reference the Atelier Versace Spring-Summer 1995 collection. Signature Versace straight-shouldered tailoring enhances an hourglass shape. Box-pleat A-line skirts and dresses show expertise in cut with frontal projected kick volumes. A deep understanding of the body results in body-sensitive cuts and cutaways,” shares Versace team in their notes on the new collection. Shown for the first time in Los Angeles, the collection rightfully saw draws from Donatella’s inspiration taken directly from the energy and glamour of Hollywood’s Golden Age. Yet, Versace brings its own modern version of the same sentiment, empowering in a way only Donatella and her brand can be.
