Spanish fashion house LOEWE presented the Spring Summer 2023 Pixel Capsule Collection, which was originally introduced at the Spring Summer 2023 womenswear show. The lookbook captured by Jules Moskovtchenko features a “digital world decontextualized,” which reimagines LOEWE classics in pixelated form. In particular, the Puzzle Edge bag’s soft calfskin leather construction is embellished with pixelated squares that adorn the cuboid accessory’s geometric lines and hint at what the rest of the collection may look like. The pixelated LOEWE Anagram Logo T-shirt, the technical knit hoodie, the technical knit top, the Duchesse silk satin trousers, and other items seen on the runway all create a big impression in real life. Each shape has a print that blurs the boundaries between the real world and the virtual world, or it is cut out like the uniform of a retro character. Similar updates to the traditional blue basis can be found on baggy denim jeans, a trucker jacket, and a denim skirt. To guarantee that the theme is carried throughout, all the pieces will be wrapped in unique pixelated bags and boxes.
