Fashion house Isabel Marant unveiled its Fall Winter 2023 campaign starring Loli Bahia, Vasko Luyckx, Alaato Jazyper, Liya Kebede and Irina Shayk. In charge of photography and video direction was Robin Galiegue. The collection brings a desire to wrap oneself in cozy sweaters and jackets. The disorder of irreverence and a seductively unconventional outlook.
The use of metallic zips gives a rebellious edge to the leather-dominated designs. Not only do these zippers secure the jackets and pockets, but they also serve as exquisite accents, revealing the neckline or creating alluring splits in the dresses. Bold graphic cut-outs lend a modern touch, producing unique and intriguing silhouettes, while the skillful use of transparency delicately reveals glimpses of the body. The collection’s juxtaposition of flexible and feminine textiles with heavier textures such as cable knits, dyed denim, wool, and toasty shearlings provides depth and interest.
Initially natural and minimal, the color palette investigates yellow and magenta horizons before diving into black. A dazzling evening features a variety of textures and silhouettes, including embroideries, velvet lurex, and oversized, fitted, and cropped garments.
