Puma is bringing back this iconic shoe, the Palermo OG, that originally debuted in the 1980s and was popular among the terrace crowd at football stadiums.

The Palermo OG pays homage to the coastal capital of Sicily, and its return has been eagerly anticipated since it was teased by Puma collaborator and ambassador Dua Lipa earlier in 2023.
The Palermo OG’s reissue retains its original blue-and-white colorway, featuring a retro T-toe construction and a classic gum sole. The shoe’s signature tag with Puma lettering in gold is included, along with the Puma cat logo on the heel. This release captures the unmistakable DNA of the Palermo, evoking a deep sense of football nostalgia.
In addition to the classic blue-and-white colorway, Puma is also introducing two additional colorways inspired by Palermo’s iconic fruit vendors, known locally as fruttivendolo. These vibrant schemes add a touch of uniqueness and pay tribute to the shoe’s Sicilian namesake.
The Puma Palermo OG became part of a special series of sneakers that honored Europe’s famous capitals, including London and Oslo, among others. It holds a special place in Puma’s storied history, and its return is sure to excite fans of the brand and football enthusiasts.
