Travis Scott’s Teases a New Jordan Cut the Check Sneaker

Travis Scott, the multifaceted hip-hop artist, is no stranger to the sneaker world. Just when fans thought they’d gotten a handle on his latest Jordan “Cut the Check” silhouette after the unveiling of a creamy yellow and turquoise variant, Scott threw another curveball.

SNEAKERS

Thursday night saw Scott teasing sneakerheads and fans alike on Instagram with a new and impeccably detailed look at yet another colorway.

A Closer Look

The third colorway revealed is reminiscent of Scott’s previous collaborations with Jordan. It features a white, sail, and brown palette, drawing parallels to the much-loved “Mocha” colorway we’ve seen in his Air Jordan ventures. Both the Air Jordan 1 High and Low have showcased this iconic color scheme, with the Air Jordan 1 Low even receiving a “Reverse Mocha” edition.

However, this third Cut the Check sneaker doesn’t just lean on past successes. It innovates with its use of hemp underlays situated in the toe box and a small window beneath the prominent brown Swoosh at the midfoot. This material choice is not just a nod to sustainable fashion but also gives the sneaker a distinctive touch. The trim, distinguishing the mudguard from the shoe’s upper, mirrors this natural tone, and it’s perfectly balanced by the laces and a tongue showcasing exposed foam.

The rest of the shoe is primarily dressed in a crisp white leather, with a textured twist around the collar region. A highlight worth noting is the portion of the strap made of a transparent mesh, adding a touch of modern flair. Lastly, the sneaker sits atop a brown midsole and sail outsole, rounding off its sophisticated yet street-ready look.

What to Expect Next

Given the frequency of the sneaker’s appearances on Scott’s social media, it seems the Jordan Cut the Check is poised for an imminent release. Reportedly, the sneaker world should brace itself for a debut during the festive holiday season.

This release holds significant weight for both Travis Scott and the Jordan Brand. Not only does it mark Scott’s first foray into signature sneakers, but it also symbolizes a break from tradition for Jordan Brand. This is the first time they have collaborated on a dedicated model with someone who isn’t from the realm of professional athletics.

The unveiling of this third colorway, so soon after the last, signifies the growing momentum for the shoe’s release. As fans eagerly await more details, one thing is for sure: Travis Scott’s Jordan Cut the Check is about to leave a lasting mark in the sneaker community.

Before this latest colorway revelation, Scott gave his fans another sneaker treat. During his recent performances with Drake in Vancouver for the “It’s All a Blur Tour”, Travis Scott unveiled more than just musical collaborations. The artist took to Instagram to flaunt another variant of his Jordan Cut the Check silhouette. Dominated by a dusty gray hue, the sneaker featured his signature reverse Swoosh, contrasted by black collars and vibrant teal interiors. The design concluded with a striking two-toned black and yellow midsole. Clearly, Scott keeps impressing both on stage and in the sneaker realm.

I don’t mind him but I really think travis scott is that interesting and brands could seriously go and invest in other people not support someone who has done what he has done when so many people died on his concert
