ROTATE, a coveted Danish fashion house, has unveiled its latest ROTATE Sunday line for the Fall Winter 2023 season. This collection marks the brand’s seventh iteration, fusing an easygoing vibe with a faster-paced aesthetic, capturing the essence of what a leisurely yet adventurous Sunday should feel like.
Drawing inspiration from the fearless aura of leather-adorned biker clubs and the nostalgia of 90’s Americana, ROTATE Sunday dives deep into a world of rugged outerwear and timeless denim. The collection boasts pieces such as a checked flannel lumber jacket, oversized windbreakers, and the quintessential denim jacket, but with a twist – it’s sharply cropped. A notable standout is the cropped down jackets, revamped with a lustrous sheen and detailed with tassels, perfectly embodying the brand’s edge.
The collection doesn’t shy away from experimenting with fabric; twill and denim feature predominantly and are elevated with unique patchwork and acid wash finishes. These nuances reflect the effortless style and unabashed coolness synonymous with the biker culture.
In keeping with ROTATE’s philosophy of versatility, each item in this collection is designed to complement one another. The color palette remains largely neutral, perfect for the colder months. However, the occasional bursts of vivid pink or electric blue add a touch of vibrancy to the muted tones. Among the collection, lightweight jersey pointelle pieces embossed with ROTATE’s ‘R’ encourage creative layering. The brand’s signature sweats have also been reimagined, now boasting a bold new logo, continued acid-wash aesthetics, and introducing avant-garde silhouettes.
Adding a touch of drama to the collection’s launch is an electrifying image campaign. Captured by the lens of renowned photographer Julien Boudet, the campaign is set against the iconic backdrop of Paris. Each shot is imbued with the city’s pulsating energy, depicting a model being dramatically pursued through its historic cobbled lanes.
The ROTATE Sunday collection drops both online and in physical stores worldwide today, with price points ranging from €50 to €270.
