Fashion house Jacquemus unveiled its Holiday 2023 campaign titled Guirlande featuring Blackpink member Jennie Kim lensed by fashion photographer Daniel Arnold. Jacquemus recently also featured reality star turn model Kendall Jenner in their playful festive campaign.

Blackpink, the global K-pop sensation, has recently reignited excitement among fans and the music industry by renewing their contract with YG Entertainment. This renewal signals a continuation of their journey in the music scene, promising more thrilling releases from the world’s biggest all-female vocal act. YG Entertainment’s executive producer, Yang Hyun Suk, expressed his delight in continuing the partnership with Blackpink, stating, “Blackpink will continue to do their best to shine even brighter in the global music market as artists representing not only our agency but also K-pop.“

In the midst of this renewal, Jennie has made a historic mark on one Billboard chart as a solo artist. Jennie’s debut on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart with “One of the Girls” marks a momentous occasion in her career. The track, which placed at No. 47, is collaboration with The Weeknd and Lily Rose-Depp. Jennie’s entry into this chart positions her as the second solo South Korean woman to achieve this feat, joining her Blackpink bandmate Lisa, who made a similar breakthrough in 2021. Lisa’s success in 2021 as the first South Korean woman on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart was a landmark moment, marking over a decade since a solo artist from South Korea had been featured on the list.

Despite not releasing a group album in 2023, Blackpink continues to dominate on Spotify, becoming the first girl group to surpass 3 billion streams in a single calendar year. This impressive feat was achieved without the momentum of a typical album release or major promotional activities, highlighting the group’s enduring appeal and influence in the music industry. And that’s not all, as Google commemorates its 25th anniversary with a video highlighting the most notable global trends, Blackpink has been honored as the Most Searched Girl Group in the history of the platform.
