Actress Shin Mina takes the digital cover story of W Korea Magazine‘s December 2023 edition lensed by fashion photographer Park Jongha. In charge of styling was Kang Yoonju, with beauty from hair stylist Lim Cheolwoo, and makeup artist Won Joyeon. Shin Min-a, born Yang Min-a on April 5, 1984, in Seongnam, South Korea, is a South Korean actress and model. Min-a’s career in entertainment began in the late 1990s when she was discovered as a model. Her natural beauty and charisma quickly made her a sought-after face in the modeling world. She transitioned to acting in the early 2000s, making her debut in the television drama “Beautiful Days” in 2001.
Over the years, Shin Mina has become renowned for her roles in several popular South Korean television dramas and films, including “My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho” (2010), where she played a mythical nine-tailed fox, capturing audiences with her playful and endearing performance, “Arang and the Magistrate” (2012), a historical fantasy drama, and “Oh My Venus” (2015), a romantic comedy where she portrayed a lawyer struggling with weight issues.
Shin’s filmography is equally impressive, including roles in movies like “A Love to Kill” (2005), “My Mighty Princess” (2008), and “Diva” (2020). Her performances have been praised for their depth, authenticity, and ability to connect with the audience.
