In the unrefined setting of an unused parking garage on the Quai de Grenelle, Juun.J unveiled its Autumn/Winter 2024/25 collection, titled “ECCENTRIC.” This collection presents us with a reimagining of the brand’s style, offering a fresh perspective on it’s aesthetics and design.
Jung Wook Jun, the Creative Director of Juun.J and Vice President of Samsung C&T Corp, skillfully utilized a variety of classic materials, including wool, leather, denim, fur, and sequins. These materials were transformed and draped onto the body, creating a collection that celebrates tailoring and striking contrasts. The goal of this collection is to challenge the norms of traditional dressing, pushing the boundaries of conventional fashion expectations.
The collection breathes new life into typically understated colors like khaki and navy, infusing them with a luster that elevates their appearance. Tartan, a classic pattern, is reenergized in vibrant shades of bright orange, adding warmth and vitality to the collection. Embodying a spirit of unpredictability and clarity, the collection transcends traditional gender boundaries, redefining the limits of items, materials, and styling.
