PUMA has unveiled its latest creation in collaboration with CHEETOS®: the SCOOT ZEROS x CHEETOS®. This release is a new one for shoe franchise of Portland Trail Blazers point guard, Scoot Henderson. With a design that’s as bold as it is innovative, the sneaker is a vibrant tribute to Henderson’s personal mantra, “Overly Determined to Dominate (O.D.D),” combined with the playful essence of CHEETOS® and its legendary mascot, Chester Cheetah.
The SCOOT ZEROS x CHEETOS® is also made with athlete’s game in mind. Featuring PUMA’s Hoops technology, the sneaker is equipped with high-rebound PROFOAM EVA. The silhouette has a reinforced formstrip for enhanced durability and a high abrasion tread with ultra-non-slip rubber compounds for traction on the court. Moreover, the design nods to the fiery spirit of CHEETOS® FLAMIN’ HOT® flavor, with an iconic Scoot “S” logo accent on the tongue and a mini formstrip on the medial heel resembling a flame.
Accompanying the SCOOT ZEROS x CHEETOS® release is an extended collection consisting of the RS-X and Cheetos Suede Classic, offering fans a broader taste of the collaboration’s unique aesthetic. The collection also features an eight-piece apparel line, including items inspired by Chester Cheetah, such as sherpa & pants, hoodies, dazzle shorts, and graphic tees. The PUMA x CHEETOS collection is set to globally launch on February 16th, with items retailing between $40-115.
