For the Fall Winter 2024, Christian Louboutin travels through the Americas, drawing inspiration from the vivid, saturated hues of Latin beaches to the rich rodeo culture of the USA. This diverse inspiration sets the stage for a release of new shoes and leather goods, as well as updated renditions of classic styles, beginning in May and continuing throughout the summer of 2024.
A standout feature of the collection is the hypnotic pastel ombré effect with rhinestone, reminiscent of Rio’s sunsets, on several new feminine sandals. The Athina sandal, with its graphic thong design, epitomizes modern elegance in both flat and stiletto versions, while the MJ Moc loafer, a centerpiece of the Loubi Show, dazzles in sunset-inspired dégradé rhinestone and classic black-and-white.
Christian Louboutin prioritizes comfort with the updated Sporty Kate shoe, now in a kitten-heeled slingback edition, and introduces the Minny, a pump with a modern chunky heel and squared toe cap. The collection’s September release draws from Texan culture, with the pointed Western-style Santia boots in three distinct styles, highlighting denim, textured materials, and crystal-embellished suede.
Accessories also echo the Western theme, with ornate belts and corset-style versions enhancing the collection’s metalwork and top-quality leather. The Loubi54 crossbody bag embraces the rodeo spirit in three vibrant colorways, featuring contrasting leather textures and metal studs, along with a mini pattern leather version.
The collection’s showing at Le Trianon, a venue steeped in history and personal significance to Louboutin, promises was evening of enchantment. Choreographer Leo Walk brings a blend of contemporary and street dance, reflecting themes of friendship and life’s beauty. The Loubi Show features performances by ‘La Marche Bleue‘ dancers and music by Agar Agar, set against a visually stunning scenography by Jan Melka.
