The Noir Kei Ninomiya Fall Winter 2024 collection, named “Iridescence,” is inspired by the mesmerizing play of light through color and texture, showing a significant departure towards experimentation and innovation in fashion design. This season, showed at Paris Fashion Week, focuses on iridescence is not just about a visual spectacle but a thoughtful investigation into the ways fabric and light interact, creating a dynamic and ever-changing palette of colors and effects.
The collaboration with industry talents such as makeup artist Kakuyasu Uchiide, hairstylist Ryoji Imaizumi, and hair accessory artist Takuro Kuwata, ensures that the theme of iridescence is cohesively integrated into every aspect of the presentation. Uchiide’s makeup styles complement the collection’s focus on light and color, using reflective and shimmering products to enhance the models’ features. Imaizumi’s hair creations, paired with Kuwata’s innovative hair accessories, contribute to the overall aesthetic, adding layers of texture that echo the collection’s concept. The chosen soundtrack by Hasegawa Hakushi provides an auditory backdrop.
The Instapump Fury sneaker done in collaboration with REEBOK LTD, featured the in two styles and three colorways, introduces a footwear element into the collection’s theme. The Instapump Fury, known for its distinctive silhouette and technology, serves as an ideal canvas for exploring iridescence in footwear.
