After a seven-year hiatus, the globally acclaimed GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY Award-winning artist Shakira has unveiled her 12th studio masterpiece, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. A vibrant celebration of emotional resilience, the album showcases Shakira’s unparalleled ability to weave together diverse musical genres. From pop to EDM, rap, reggaeton, and heartfelt ballads, Shakira presents an emotional odyssey that is both strident and vulnerable, capturing the essence of transformation and strength through music.

MUSIC

Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran features a mix of 16 tracks, including 8 brand-new songs, a fresh remix, and 7 previously released hits that have collectively amassed over 3.7 billion plays on Spotify. Hits like “Music Sessions Vol. 53” with Bizarrap, “TQG” with Karol G, and “Monotonía” with Ozuna highlight Shakira’s ability to dominate the global music scene.

In conjunction with the album’s release, Shakira has also dropped the fantasy-laden music video for “Puntería,” her latest pop sensation featuring Cardi B. The collaboration, as Shakira reveals to the New York Times, was a seamless and thrilling process, thanks to Cardi B’s immediate and enthusiastic response to the song. The video, which stars Emily in Paris’ Lucien Laviscount, transports viewers to a mythical world of empowerment and transformation, echoing themes of female strength and resilience.

Speaking to The Times, Shakira explains the deeper meaning of the album, describing it as a journey from pain to creativity, frustration to productivity, and anger to passion. She emphasized how music served as the glue that pieced her life back together during challenging times, showcasing her vulnerability and resilience.

The album’s launch was celebrated with an experiential event at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL, sponsored by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Sony Music Latin. Shakira’s promotional tour will include a performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she will also discuss the album and its inspirations.

Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran is available in four unique artwork editions, each paired with exclusive-colored vinyl, catering to collectors and fans alike. The Sapphire edition is available on Amazon, the Ruby edition at Target, the Emerald edition through Shakira’s official website, and the Diamond edition at all major retailers.

As the best-selling female Latin artist in history, Shakira’s latest album cements her legendary status and highlights her journey of overcoming personal challenges with grace and passion.
