PUMA and KidSuper Unite for the Sports Club Collection

Introducing the PUMA x KidSuper Sports Club collection, where archival silhouettes meet modern aesthetics and football passion.

PUMA, in its latest collaboration with Colm Dillane, popularly known as KidSuper, has unveiled a unique sportswear collection that marries the dynamism of football with high fashion. This partnership, which builds on the momentum of their previous successful releases, draws deep inspiration from PUMA’s rich football heritage and Dillane’s profound passion for the sport, introducing the PUMA x KidSuper Sports Club collection.

The collection reimagines PUMA’s archival designs through a football-centric perspective, infusing pastel color palettes and contemporary aesthetics into the functionality of sportswear. It features an updated rendition of the iconic Velophasis and Palermo sneakers, now dubbed the Velophasis Nu and Palermo Nu, respectively. These sneakers have been redesigned with luxury in mind, boasting premium cashmere suede uppers and mesh underlays, accompanied by bespoke PUMA and KidSuper Studios branding.

A hallmark of this collaboration is the incorporation of distinctive designs across various apparel, including matching sets that stand out with their garment dyeing techniques, graphic jacquard knits, and patterns inspired by the iconic PUMA King. The collection also includes cut-and-sewn Track Jackets and Pants characterized by bold color blocking and intricate embroidery. The knitwear in the collection, such as the Cardigan, Knitted Jersey, and Shorts, showcases bold graphic elements and patterns that abstract human facial features, all emblematic of KidSuper’s creative vision.

In addition to the apparel, the PUMA x KidSuper collaboration extends to accessories, including a Bucket Hat, Duffle Bag, and Scarf, completing the modern sportswear ensemble.

The campaign for the collection takes an original approach, casting Dillane as the head of the PUMA x KidSuper family in a series of visuals that nod to the classic mobster films of the ’90s. These visuals emphasize the collection’s standout tracksuits, setting a unique narrative tone for the launch.

Set to launch on April 13, 2024, the PUMA x KidSuper Sport Club collection will be available online at kidsuper.com, in-store, and through select retail partners. Following this, a collaborative drop with PUMA Basketball is anticipated in May, promising to further this unique fusion of sport and style.
