Santoni’s Men’s Spring Summer 2025 collection, titled “Light & Shadow; Land of Dreamers,” invites us to step into ‘Piazza Santoni,’ a central space inspired by the rich culture of Le Marche. This region, known for its heritage, provides a backdrop where summer light transforms landscapes from rolling hills to dramatic coastlines. The collection captures the region, where light and shadow create a mesmerizing play of colors that inspire dreams and creativity. This environment fuels the brand’s artisans and designers, pushing them to master intense color, elegant forms, and artful movement.
In SS25, presented during Milano Fashion Week, Santoni’s signature application of color introduces new experimentation with ancient dyeing techniques. These techniques bring the warm natural tones of Urbino, Terracotta, Pavone, Quercia, Mosto, and Olivo to life, saturating the collection with depth and richness. These hues complement the signature Arancio Santoni, a sophisticated orange that represents the twilight sky over Le Marche.
The Double Buckle men’s shoe remains one of the central pieces in the collection, now updated with brilliant patinas in the Infinito color scheme. This classic shoe is characterized by hand-applied color and Goodyear construction. The lace-up version, finished with an oak tone glaze and exquisite broguing, evokes the starry night sky.
The Carlo loafer stands out as a cornerstone of the collection, unlined and made of fine reverse suede with a hand-stitched raised upper. This design offers flexibility, comfort, and lightness, making it a versatile addition to any wardrobe. Inspired by the Adriatic waters, the loafer features a lightweight, unlined construction with a soft patina touch and Velatura color application, resulting in deep, saturated hues that go beyond the surface.
The collection continues with the introduction of the Easy shoe, weighing just 295 grams. The sneakers in the collection further explore the theme of dreamers, with contemporary-retro styles like The DBS Oly Cube and DBS Zoom. These designs reinterpret classic ‘70s tennis shoes and feature modern applications of Santoni’s signature Double Buckle, while the Bounce sneaker offers comfort and movement with its clean rubber sole and hand-colored leather upper.
The choice of materials for accessories and leather goods ranges from soft leather treated with handcrafted glazes to exclusive weaves that pay homage to Le Marche’s rich tradition of weaving. Take a closer look at the collection in the Gallery below:
