KIMHĒKIM presented its Pre Spring 25 Collection, “OBSESSION N°12: Self,” done by designer Kiminte. This collection, the twelfth installment in their OBSESSION series, pivots towards a deep exploration of aesthetics through a unique lens— the Twelve Asian Zodiac Signs. Unlike previous iterations, this season’s designs stem from a personal story, where Kiminte goes on a journey of self-discovery alongside twelve new friends who each represent one of the Zodiac signs.

Each garment in the collection has been made through conversations with these twelve representatives, who share their perspectives on individuality and personal style. These dialogues have profoundly influenced the design process, making each piece a reflection of both the zodiac sign it represents and the personality of its corresponding friend. This approach ensures that the collection remains diverse and deeply personal, resonating with a sense of authenticity and self-expression.

The aesthetic of the collection still follows KIMHĒKIM’s signature style, which is known for its playful yet sophisticated detailing. This season introduces garments inspired by each zodiac animal, which are designed to be more wearable than in past seasons, without sacrificing the brand’s flair for dramatic and engaging visuals. Notably, the collection redesigns Monroe ballerina flats and Gabriel derby shoes, now featuring new platform soles.

Further enhancing the collection’s appeal are the reimagined hair-embellished T-shirts, now presented in a captivating new colorway of green. This choice refreshes a classic item, giving a vibrant, youthful energy to the lineup. The collection also focuses on versatility and everyday wearability, a slight shift from the more avant-garde pieces seen in previous collections. A standout feature is the preppy mood unisex check setup and the argyle knit vest with inside-out details.

Finally, the collection is rounded off with vibrant sunglasses and twelve zodiac animal keyrings, which not only add a playful accessory option for consumers but also tie the entire theme together. Take a closer look at the collection in the Gallery below:
