As you may assume by the title of this line, Marcel Ostertag invites his audience to a journey through the magical garden of Eden. Surrounded by the beautiful green nature, flowers and streams of clear water, humans and animals live harmoniously together. This vision characterizes the designer very well, as he is an active supporter of animal welfare and has a close connection to nature. By choosing these inspirations, he wants to encourage his guests to protect and appreciate both the animals and the nature. Protected by the warm, pleasant rays of sunlight, this captivating collection invites you to let go and relax in the thick, lush green grass.
Then, at nightime, you can gaze at the shining stars, enjoy the silence, and forget time. Exactly this gorgeous garden of Eden enrichens us with beauty, protects us and gives us a safe home.
Marcel Ostertag’s latest line invites us to dream and guides us into the magical garden of Eden to celebrate. For this festivity, he takes its inspiration by love and friendship. Even if each one of you might have a different imagination of this perfect place, what unites us is the longing for happiness, peace, inspiration and love. With choosing the beautiful Altmühltal as the new center of their life, Marcel and his husband Markus Ostertag, have now found their very own paradise. This region is very well-known for its breath-taking countryside, its historic towns, castles and ancient remains. A place where you can get inspired and come to rest by enjoying its breath-taking surrounding and nature. Worth of mentioning is also the fact that this fashion show was anew part of the WE.4.FASHIONDAY in Berlin. Next to the invited guests, 200 tickets for four shows were sold for a good cause. This season, the profit was donated to Children for Tomorrow and the Tierschutzverein Berlin (TVB).
“Already as a child I loved creating fashion with my own hands. I am sure that this passion makes the difference between profession and devotion. I have to be creative to be able to exist!“, declared Marcel Ostertag.
This interesting interplay between nature and culture was the perfect source of inspiration for Marcel Ostertag’s latest, nature-inspired range. In his imagination, the designer was inviting his guests to a glittering party night in the garden of Eden. A flash of colours in exciting graphical patterns and opulent, eye-catching blossoms let Marcel’s muses sparkle and shine. Vibrant, strong nuances such as red, turquoise, gold and silver as well as black and white are harmoniously united with the loud, expressive prints. Mint, coral, daffodil, azure, arctic, fern and basil are repeatedly used as well.
Being significant for this compelling collection are a bunch of cocktail- and evening dresses in which his models are gracefully moving through the starry night. Pants suits are paired with casual blouses, caftans and extraordinary details. A true highlight is a sparkling, silver pants suits that contains of high-waisted trousers and an eye-catching, over-sized blazer. When wearing this statement look, you will certainly be the center of each splendid party.
Gold chains with rings and stones sparkle in the night and create many alluring, mystical moments. It is once more visible in this collection that wearable glamour is a very important feature for Marcel Ostertag’s designs. Silhouettes of the seventies and eighties underline this dazzling approach.
