HOTELS
Perfectly situated in Vienna’s untapped creative hub, Max Brown 7th District offers a warm and welcoming retreat for travelers seeking an authentic Viennese experience.

Design
Housed in a meticulously restored six-storey building, Max Brown 7th District merges modern comforts with historical charm. The interiors are designed to evoke a sense of coziness, featuring soft, plush fabrics like velvet, and a nature-inspired color palette. Vintage furniture pieces, sourced from local shops, enhance the inviting atmosphere. The building’s façade, with its neutral tones and timber shutters, nods to the Biedermeier architectural style of the 18th century. Adding a touch of whimsy, a large hand-painted mural by Viennese artists Käthe Schönle and Sebastian Schager adorns a second exterior wall, playfully referencing historic Austrian figures and contemporary city life.

Attention to Detail
Inside, every corner of Max Brown 7th District is thoughtfully designed. Bespoke patterns in pink tones, inspired by Austrian artist Franz West, adorn the walls. Guest rooms are furnished with hotel’s signature uber-comfortable beds, featuring Auping bedframes made entirely from recyclable materials, alongside Crosley record players and a kettle and tea set. The calming green backdrop of textured wallpaper is accentuated with vibrant, intentionally uncoordinated elements, including artworks by local artists Deborah Sengl and Drago Persic, books, and plants.

A Community Hub
Max Brown 7th District is a vibrant community hub. The hotel’s multi-functional ‘Ateliers’ provide unique spaces for meetings and events, showcasing exposed brick discovered during restoration. The on-site Movie Theatre hosts weekly film screenings, inviting guests and locals to come together and enjoy cultural events. Collaborations with Vienna-based authors, filmmakers, designers, and artists ensure a rich program of events that foster community engagement.

Seven North: A Culinary Experience
At the heart of Max Brown 7th District is Seven North, a restaurant by acclaimed chef Eyal Shani. The restaurant’s design, centered around a large open kitchen, creates a lively, energetic atmosphere reminiscent of marketplace eateries in the Levant. Shani’s cuisine emphasizes simplicity, freshness, and bold flavors, with signature dishes such as whole roast baby cauliflower, roasted asparagus spear, and larger wood-fired dishes like Kebab Schnitzel and Pizza Bianca. The menu is rounded out with indulgent desserts like Shani’s take on Apfelstreusel, all complemented by a carefully curated selection of old and new world wines.
