The designerexplored the film’s visuals and themes to create garments that reflect the unicorn’s quest to find others of her kind, her transformation into a human, and her encounters with the Red Bull. Through this narrative, Leitner explores concepts of identity, transformation, and longing. “The story has always been a significant part of my childhood,” she remarked. “With this collection, I wanted to recapture that sense of wonder and interpret it through the lens of contemporary fashion. It’s about honoring the original while introducing its magic to a new generation.”
The runway was a visual feast, featuring a harmonious blend of delicate lace, shimmering silks, and bold laser-cut designs. The use of screen-printed motifs and innovative textiles brought a modern twist to the timeless tale. Models donned garments that ranged from flowing dresses with subtle unicorn silhouettes to statement pieces with vibrant colors and patterns, all echoing the film’s fantastical elements.
