HUI’s Spring Summer 2025 collection, titled Le Grand Tour intertwines the essence of travel, personal growth, and the eternal quest for beauty. Drawing inspiration from the traditional European Grand Tour taken by young aristocrats and blending it with the cultural richness of ancient Chinese poetry, designer Zhao Huizhou creates a collection that celebrates the power and independence of women across time and space.

This season, HUI’s muses include iconic female travelers like writer Sanmao and cultural preservationist Wang Xiaomei, both of whom embody strength, resilience, and a redefinition of traditional gender roles.
At the heart of this collection is a harmonious fusion of East and West. The clean, structured lines of Italian haute couture collide with the delicate, flowing softness of Chinese culture, resulting in a style that is both dynamic and fluid. The color palette opens with blue, a symbolic nod to the vastness of the sea and sky, as well as the depth of feminine wisdom and power. This shade dominates the collection, serving as the backdrop for intricate pictorial patterns that evoke sea cliffs—symbols of power in Chinese culture—and the delicate beauty of butterflies and peonies, a nod to the feminine soul. These motifs, rendered through the traditional indigo dyeing techniques of the Miao people, weave HUI’s ancient heritage into the fabric of the collection, creating pieces that feel timeless yet forward-thinking.
