ISSEY MIYAKE is set to debut its vibrant new Chiffon Twist collection, perfectly timed for the holiday season. This unique series features tops intricately pleated and twisted, creating an organic, adaptable form that adjusts beautifully to each wearer’s shape. The natural folds and twists of Chiffon Twist echo the spontaneous beauty of nature, capturing a harmonious blend of elegance and individuality.
In collaboration with Teruhiro Yanagihara Studio, ISSEY MIYAKE has crafted a display experience titled “Chiffon Twist: An Open-Ended Dialogue.” This concept presents a vision of a boundary-free world where creativity flourishes through diverse perspectives. The imaginative display, along with the visuals and packaging, brings the essence of Chiffon Twist to life, celebrating open-ended interpretations and the joy of discovery.
To mark the collection’s arrival, a special exhibition will be hosted at Vague Kobe, a gallery and café space also founded by Teruhiro Yanagihara Studio, beginning on November 1. Visitors will have the chance to immerse themselves in the world of Chiffon Twist, enhanced by specially commissioned artwork that expands upon the series’ themes.
