END. unveils its latest collaboration, bringing together Vans and ANGLAN for the “Parachute” collection, a project that fuses military surplus aesthetics with contemporary skate and streetwear influences. This three-way partnership enlists visual artist, photographer, skateboarder, and musician Sam Hutchinson, who lends his artistic vision to interpret the collection’s themes through sculptural photography.
The collaboration draws inspiration from vintage parachutes, incorporating technical fabric choices and oversized silhouettes that reflect both military functionality and ANGLAN’s “wide casual” design philosophy. The result is a lineup of footwear and apparel that merges utilitarian references with modern styling, offering a distinctive take on skatewear and military surplus fashion.

A longtime collaborator with END., Vans once again steps into the spotlight with a custom take on the LX Old Skool 136, a classic skate silhouette reinterpreted with rugged construction and parachute-inspired details. The ripstop uppers, dressed in bright white, mimic the look and durability of military parachutes, while tonal suede overlays reinforce key areas such as the toe box, eyestay, heel counter, and Vans’ signature Jazz Stripe.
The vulcanized rubber midsoles pay homage to Vans’ roots in American skateboarding, offering increased protection for the sides and toes. Co-branded insoles complete the design, ensuring that this limited-edition release captures both Vans’ legacy and the refined aesthetic that END. brings to its collaborations. The result is a balance of military-inspired ruggedness and classic skate functionality, packaged in a clean, minimalist execution.

The “Parachute” collection extends beyond footwear, as END. partners with Seoul-based ANGLAN for a seven-piece apparel lineup that fully embraces military references. Known for its oversized silhouettes and relaxed styling, ANGLAN brings its signature proportions to the capsule, creating pieces that reflect both its design ethos and the parachute-inspired theme.
The Ruched Bomber Jacket, presented in grey, embodies the military influence through carefully constructed details. Adjustable pull cords at the cuffs allow for a ruched effect, mimicking the gathered fabric of parachutes. The collection also introduces a boxy-fit t-shirt featuring parachute graphics across the chest, adding a bold visual reference to the theme.

Other standout pieces include the Balloon Cargo Pant, Balloon Sweatpants, Pullover Hoodie, and Bomber Jacket, all of which incorporate embroidered co-branding that unites the identities of END. and ANGLAN. A short-sleeved shirt and a beanie round out the offering, ensuring a well-balanced mix of statement pieces and everyday essentials.
To further enhance the collection’s visual storytelling, END. worked with Sam Hutchinson, an artist whose creative work spans photography, sculpture, and publishing. Born in Sunderland and now based in Leeds, Hutchinson has developed a unique artistic approach that explores conceptual themes through mixed media.

Ahead of the collection’s release, Hutchinson created a series of sculptural photographs that translate the atmosphere and concept of the “Parachute” project into visual form. His work connects the military and aviation influences of the collection with a modern, artistic perspective, adding another dimension to the collaboration.
The END. x Vans LX Old Skool 136 “Parachute” will launch on February 21, 2025, both in END. stores and via END. Launches online.
