ZOMER Fall Winter 2025 debuts at Paris Fashion Week, bringing designer Danial Aitouganov and stylist Imruh Asha back to the runway with their fourth collection. Featured on the FCHM calendar and recognized as an LVMH Semi-Finalist, the show rethinks traditional dressing, introducing playful designs that challenge expectations of how garments are worn.

The collection disrupts expectations by flipping, twisting, and reversing clothing in ways that rethink structure. Familiar pieces take on new roles as silhouettes shift, turning garments inside out or upside down. This approach reflects the human instinct to revisit moments, rewrite the past, and relive certain experiences. While time allows no rewinds, fashion grants the freedom to reconstruct what once was.

ZOMER finds inspiration in childhood, a time when rules around dressing do not exist. Children throw on garments without concern for convention, unknowingly creating fresh interpretations of style. This carefree approach fuels the collection’s energy, where clothes drape and fold in unexpected ways, encouraging spontaneity over tradition.

Morphology plays a central role in the styling. Pieces wrap and layer unconventionally, questioning which side is the front and which is the back. Some garments twist mid-body, shifting structure and movement. This curiosity-driven exploration challenges the wearer to reconsider the function of clothing, inviting interaction rather than passive wear.

Aitouganov’s recent travels to Morocco introduced another layer to the collection. The country’s rich visual textures, particularly its traditional carpets and wool textiles, sparked an experiment in reinterpreting these elements through fashion. Some pieces mimic the shape and drape of carpets, turning them into wearable designs that embrace warmth and craftsmanship.

This approach adds an element of playfulness to the runway, as models walk in garments that reference functional home textiles transformed into clothing. The collaboration with knitwear designer Cecile Feilchenfeldt furthers this idea, with hand-crafted knit pieces reinforcing the collection’s experimental nature. Feilchenfeldt’s work adds structure while maintaining a sense of fluidity, ensuring each look feels intentional yet spontaneous.

Beyond the garments, the collection’s presentation depends on a strong creative team. Ana Takahashi shapes the overall look, ensuring the styling reflects the concept’s playful deconstruction. Hair stylist Karim Belghiran crafts looks that align with the unconventional nature of the garments, working alongside industry partners Make Up For Ever and Phyto to complete the aesthetic.

Shoes by Marko Baković ground the collection, offering a contrast to the fluidity of the clothing. This balance between structure and looseness keeps the collection dynamic, allowing each piece to exist in motion rather than feeling fixed in form.

ZOMER COLLECTION 04 stands as an invitation to rethink the relationship between clothing and the body. By stripping away preconceived notions of how garments should function, the collection encourages instinctive styling.
