Nike and Titan are releasing the Nike Sabrina 2 Make Space on April 15 for $140. The collaboration, built in partnership with Sabrina Ionescu and designed by Filipino artists, channels a shared vision of expanding access and representation within basketball. Developed with contributions from artists Aila Torre, Lari Gazmen, and Alessah Papa, the sneaker pays homage to women who are reshaping the future of the sport.
The shoe’s light bone base is accented with tones of purple, blush, emerald, and seafoam – each chosen with symbolic intent. The color palette references Titan’s “Show Her Love” tournament while also nodding to Sabrina’s ongoing role with the New York Liberty. Additional visual elements, such as floral graphics on the collar and insole, reference the resilience and calm required from women navigating pressure both on and off the court.
Engineered for performance, the Sabrina 2 “Make Space” features Nike’s Cushlon foam for a responsive, cushioned ride. The Air Zoom unit adds a springy feel underfoot, while the outsole’s grippy traction pattern supports fast cuts and directional shifts. These technical details ensure the shoe functions at a high level during gameplay.
Graphics across the sneaker connect directly to the concept of space – both physical and metaphorical. A pink-to-yellow gradient Swoosh is inspired by the Fire Spinner plant, a symbol of resilience. The right insole features the same plant motif, while the left carries a drawing of empty arena seating, representing those yet to be included in the conversation around women’s sports. These designs were informed by Sabrina’s own words from a Nike GT Cut campaign, in which she said, “All I wanted was space. I found it in the game.”
A Tangram-style silhouette graphic appears at the heel, with shapes referencing a collective effort to build new opportunities. The modular design pays tribute to a future constructed by collaboration. The message is further reinforced by the “Make Space” typography included in the design.
With this release, Nike and Titan continue to support initiatives that bridge athletic performance with meaningful representation. The “Make Space” Sabrina 2 is both a performance shoe and a wearable narrative, grounded in the values of inclusivity, visibility, and change. The sneaker will be available on April 15 through Nike and select retailers in women’s sizing.
