S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA. continues its collaboration with OTW by Vans through a new release arriving August 14, 2025. The drop includes updated versions of the Old Skool 36 and Authentic 44, reworked with yellow paint-splatter graphics and performance-driven outsoles. The collaboration follows previous joint releases, expanding the visual identity that artist Sterling Ruby has developed through footwear.
Both sneakers feature a vivid yellow base layered with black marbled overlays. The swirling treatment covers the uppers in a pattern that recalls paint application and fluid motion. Custom white laces printed with S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA. branding replace standard Vans lace options. Each shoe carries co-branding details and builds on past themes established in the OTW creative platform.

The Old Skool 36 model retains its familiar shape, complete with rubber toe caps and reinforced side panels. It features a molded Vibram sole for added grip and structure. The Authentic 44 stays close to its original low-cut frame, with a plain toe box and smooth foxing tape running along the midsole. Like the Old Skool 36, it incorporates a Vibram outsole in place of the standard Vans construction.

The models appear under OTW by Vans, a capsule that emphasizes limited-edition collaborations with artists and creatives. The use of color, texture, and utility defines this drop’s aesthetic direction, with no structural modifications made to the core builds beyond sole upgrades. Each pair highlights print as an artform applied to functional sneakers.

Retail prices are set at $150 for the Old Skool 36 and $130 for the Authentic 44. Product codes are VN000EEKFAS for the Old Skool and VN000DCNFAS for the Authentic. The shoes will be available through Vans’ website, select flagship stores, and a number of premium retail partners globally.
